Jesus’ Mother, Mary and the Disciples wait in Prayer in the Upper Room

Then they returned to Jerusalem, and when they reached the city they went to the upper room, where they were staying, There were Peter and John, James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James, son of Alphaeus, and Simon the Zealot and Jude the son of James. All of these joined in continuous prayer, together with several women, including Mary the mother of Jesus.

Witness account
In the very Early Church, the celebration of Mass often involved testimony from someone who had known Jesus personally of what they had witnessed. Here, Anna, a woman who had known Jesus and His followers gives her account of the period between Ascension and Pentecost.
