CAFOD Family Fast Day Appeal this Harvest

Please donate to our Family Fast Day parish collection to share God’s abundant gifts with our global neighbours as they find lasting solutions to poverty and climate challenges. Your generosity offers “signs of hope” in this Jubilee Year, helping build more water tanks in communities like Waré’s in Ethiopia where women have to walk for hours to get water. Thank you so much for your continued support for our Shoe Box Appeal. Last year your unwavering support enabled us to send over 85,000 shoeboxes to eight different countries – Albania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Kosovo, Moldova, Romania, Serbia and Ukraine. From those we deliver these gifts to, thank you so very much.

The  2025 appeal is  due to begin shortly. The boxes will be sent to Ukraine, Romania, Serbia, and surrounding countries.

For Crewkerne parishioners  the filled boxes can be dropped off at Mayfair Estate Agents in Market Square who have very kindly agreed to accept them. Alternatively, you can contact me Sue Moore on 07887 373814.

I will be collecting the boxes to be processed on Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th November.

For Ilminster & Chard Parishioners boxes can be brought to Mass or dropped of at the Parish Office (opening times Mon Wed Fri AM). More details along with Shoeboxes and forms will be available soon.
